SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A World War Two veteran arrived in San Diego Sunday after a 3,000 mile motorcycle ride.

Marine Corps Veteran Bruce Heilman made the ride to support the 70th anniversary of the end of World War Two. He arrived at the San Diego Harley Davidson dealership to talk about the Spirit of 45 and why he was selected to make the trip.

Heilman later headed to Miramar National Cemetery to lay a wreath at Jerry Coleman's grave site, who was a Marine Corps pilot in World War Two.
