The Aztecs got snubbed by the NCAA Tournament selections committee. San Diego State didn't win the conference tournament, falling two points shy.

They didn't win the regular season championship, finishing one game out of first place. The Aztecs didn't beat quality non-conference opponents in St. Mary's, Arizona State and Arizona.

But on the flip side, they just beat BYU two days ago and BYU is in as eight seed.

State also has 23 wins and a better record than many of the teams in the tourney, but for now it's on to the N.I.T. They were awarded a top seed in that tournament and will begin play Tuesday night at Cox Arena against Weber State.
