SAN DIEGO — San Diego drivers continue to enjoy lower gas prices this week as the price for a gallon of gas dropped 5 cents.
According to the Auto Club of Southern California a gallon of self-serve regular gas is $4.00 which is 17 cents lower than last month. But overall the price was 32 cents more than San Diegans were paying last year at this time.
AAA cites the lower production cost along with imported gasoline as contributors to the downward price trend which could continue through the end of December.
