EL CENTRO, Calif. — A 4.0 earthquake hit near El Centro, Imperial and Calexico on Monday around 6:13 p.m. according to the United States Geological Survey. Some smaller earthquakes followed.
The earthquake also impacted Santa Isabel and Mexicali in Mexico and had a depth of over 11 miles.
