SAN DIEGO — By the afternoon hours on Easter Sunday, drier conditions will prevail as daytime highs remain near seasonal with the exception of the inland valleys.

SUNDAY MICRO CLIMATE HIGHS:

  • Inland: near 67°, normal around 76°
  • Mountains: near 60°, normal around 62°
  • Desert: near 84°, normal around 85°

After the area of low pressure exits the region Monday, a strong ridge of high pressure will build in over the West and push afternoon high temperatures up once again. Temperatures will be back near seasonal norms Monday, up to 10° - 15° above seasonal norms by midweek. The warming will continue through the end of the coming week.
