SAN DIEGO COUNTY, Calif. — San Diego Police Department are searching for a driver they say is responsible for hitting and killing a man in Linda Vista, then fleeing the scene on Friday night.
According to SDPD, the crash happened on northbound Linda Vista Road near Genesee Avenue, just before 8 p.m. on Friday.
The pedestrian hit and killed was a 53-year-old man. He was taken to the hospital but later died.
SDPD are looking for a dark SUV with possible windshield and front end damage.
