SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The luck of a hang glider pilot who crashed in East County took a major turn, when a rescue team was right there to help him.
A sheriff's search and rescue team was just wrapping up a training session along Mount Laguna's Pacific Crest Trail Sunday afternoon when the man crashed right in front of them.
Volunteers carefully hoisted the 69-year-old man back to safety and treated him for minor injuries.
