Drew Brees wins lawsuit vs. La Jolla jeweler, awarded $6.1 million
A San Diego Superior Court jury awarded more than $6.1 million in damages Friday to New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and his wife in a lawsuit they filed against a La Jolla jeweler who they said sold them $15 million in diamonds at far above their actual value.
