Controversy over children in concert pit area

Posted: Updated:

CHULA VISTA (CBS 8) - Controversy after a mother, her baby and young child were escorted out of Thursday night's Brad Paisley concert at Sleep Train Amphitheater.

Meg Christofferson claims she was being unfairly targeted for breastfeeding, but officers say they just tried to protect her baby saying the pit where she was standing was too loud and dangerous.

Chula Vista police say Christofferson was given the option to move to a seated area or get a refund. She chose the refund and left.
