La Jolla is asking for your help on ways to drive the seals out of the children's pool.
There are conflicting rulings on the case. A local judge ruled the seals must go, but a federal judge ruled the seals are protected.
One of the ideas proposed involves using recordings of barking dogs. Other ideas involve turning the pool into a dog beach or having a person stationed at the beach with a water gun.
Councilwoman Sherri Lightner says she'll hold a series of forums about what to do. Both meetings will be held at La Jolla High School.
The first meeting is scheduled for June 18 at 6 p.m.
The second meeting is set for June 25 at 6 p.m.
A bill that would let the city council decide what will happen is making its way through the California assembly and is expected to pass this year.
