SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A San Diego Police Department officer is being accused Friday of sexual battery on a 32-year-old woman.
Anthony Arevalos, an 18-year veteran officer, pulled the woman over, suspecting her of driving under the influence Tuesday evening as she was leaving a Mardi Gras celebration in downtown San Diego, police said.
The officer is accused of sexual battery during the course of contact. He was arrested and suspended from duty without pay.
