Ingredients:
3 lbs. fresh ground chuck roast
2 tbls kosher salt
1 tbsp fresh ground pepper
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Directions:
Mix all the ingredients by hand and form into 4 - 6 oz. patties. Prepare the coals and oil the grill, lightly season the burger again with salt and pepper and grill to the temperature you like.
That's Hugh's part, my Dad, now my twist. You can do this with ground Turkey or a firm fish for the burger part and add the items below for you own creation. Try the Chipotle Mayo with grilled red/yellow bell pepper, smoked Gouda cheese and a drizzle of BBQ sauce. The Asian slaw will go great on a burger or some fish brushed with some teriyaki sauce. You could reconstruct the deconstructed Guacamole and serve it with chips or put it on top of a Turkey burger for that Cali thing. Be sure to use a good roll, something crusty, not your standard bun.
