SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The man Dejon White allegedly shot in the face before opening fire on Officer Jeremy Henwood is expected to survive.
22-year-old Martin Hana was with his girlfriend at an In-N-Out Burger in El Cajon on Saturday afternoon, when police say White went up to him, and shot him at point-blank range.
Hana underwent 17 hours of reconstructive surgery for the shotgun blast to the face, but doctors say he'll pull through.
Police say there is no apparent link between White and Hana, and that the shooting appears to have been at random.
