SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - We are learning more about the man suspected of killing his daughter and mother-in-law and shooting an El Cajon police officer.
A series of cryptic, threatening online threads are painting are giving new, disturbing insight into the mind of accused killer Kevin Collier. After apparently hacking into his estranged wife's Facebook page, the 32-year-old tells one of her friends "I have huge plans for tomorrow." That was the night before police say he killed his 14-month old daughter Rhilee, his 51-year-old mother-in-law, Beverli Rakov and shot and seriously injured 28-year-old Jarred Slocum, an El Cajon police officer who was hit in the head.
Investigators say he then torched Rakov's El Cajon home where two bodies, believed to be Collier's and Rakov's, were found inside. Little Rhilee's body was found in the back of her father's pickup truck.
On August 19, two days after Alyssa Rakov filed for divorce, he posts under her name, "I'm ready to go party this weekend. Who is in? Filed for divorce and ready to let my hair down."
Seventeen minutes later, he follows the post spreading a rumor about Alyssa having an STD. Alyssa's friends and family eventually catch on, including her mother Beverli, who asks people to "Please delete Alyssa as a friend. Do not feed into Kevin." In response, Kevin writes "I guess I should have been like my wife and mother-in-law a long time ago and sat on my ass at home."
He follows up by changing her status from "married" to "it's complicated." He changes her occupation to "stripper", her profile picture to a Cheetah's strip club sign and writes "I plan to sit on my ass and take all my ex'es money."
In the postings, an argumentative thread starts with Alyssa's brother when Collier tells him "I have plans on dealing with you tomorrow." While Kevin is warned his actions are hurting Rhilee, his posts end August 20th with a heated thread with Alyssa's friend Jennifer, writing "I have big plans Jen. We will all have fun. You will get to see just how silly I am."
