Father delivers baby boy on I-15

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A woman in labor delivered her baby on the side of Interstate 15 early Monday morning.

Baby Jeremiah was born around 1:00 a.m. on Southbound I-15 near Adams Avenue.

The father says they were on their way to the hospital, when his wife couldn't hold it any longer. He then pulled over and called 911.

The dispatchers helped him deliver the baby before paramedics arrived.

This is the couple's third child.
