Police chase comes to screeching end in Linda Vista

A police chase through Linda Vista ends in a neighborhood with two men in handcuffs.

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A police chase through Linda Vista ends in a neighborhood with two men in handcuffs Thursday night.

San Diego police say their gang unit recognized the driver as a gang member and parolee at large. His name is Ying Yang.

Officers tried pulling Yang over, but instead he led officers on a high speed pursuit through Linda Vista.

The car case ended in the 2800 block of Ulric Street just after 6:00 p.m. Yang and his passenger tried to get away on foot, but officers were able to catch and arrest them.

Yang is facing parolee at large charges. The name of Yang's passenger has not been released yet, but he's facing resisting arrest charges.

No weapons or drugs were found at the scene. And, no one was injured in this incident.
