SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Two cases of whooping cough are being reported at two local schools.
Health officials say an eight-year-old at Cook Elementary School and a 13-year-old at Carmel Valley Middle School were diagnosed.
There are now 88 cases of whooping cough in the county so far this year. Both students were up-to-date on immunizations.
County health officials urge all parents to get their children vaccinated.
