SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A 5-year-old boy with terminal cancer is experiencing his wishes right here in San Diego.
Liam Myrick of Houston, Missouri has been battling stage 4 neuroblastoma since he was three years old. One of Liam's wishes has always been to see the ocean.
A cancer survivor in Palm Springs took on the task of making this dream a reality, along with the help of many generous people and organizations.
Liam's family arrived here a couple of days ago, and along with seeing the ocean and Legoland Wednesday, they got to visit a local fire station.
"It means a lot to me, a whole lot. Something that I couldn't provide. Just because of friends, it was able to happen," father Greg Myrick said.
Liam and his family are going to the Padres game Wednesday night.
