U.S. Marshals arrest fugitive on Most Wanted list

A career-criminal listed among the U.S. Marshals 15 Most Wanted is in custody.

SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A career-criminal listed among the U.S. Marshals 15 Most Wanted is in custody.

A former biker gang leader who eluded capture for the past 17 years was booked into a San Diego jail early Thursday following his arrest in Mexico, authorities said.

Baja California State Police took Randy Mark Yager, 58, into custody at a bar in Rosarito, Mexico, around 10:15 p.m. Wednesday and turned him over to the U.S. Marshals Service at the San Ysidro Port of Entry early today, according to the San Diego Fugitive Task Force.

Yager, the former president of the Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana-area "Outlaws" motorcycle gang, was named in an arrest warrant issued on June 2, 1997. He is wanted in Wisconsin on suspicion of several felony crimes, including murder, firearms and explosive violations, arson and narcotics trafficking, authorities said.
