SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - The local organization “Invisible Children” is shutting down its US operations.
“Invisible Children” is dedicated to capturing warlord Joseph Kony.
The organization gained attention with its “Kony 2012” video campaign.
Several weeks after the groups campaign video went viral, the groups founder , Jason Russel, was videotaped naked and ranting on a pacific beach street corner.
He was later hospitalized.
A statement on the “Invisible Children” website says it no longer fund it work.
