SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A protest takes aim at a proposed Target store in South Park.
On Sunday, a rally took place against a 19,000 square foot Target Express store on the corner of Grape and Fern Streets.
Protesters say the store would diminish the historical charm of their neighborhood and force out small businesses.
The rally was also held to raise support for the launch of a South Park town council.
