WARNER SPRINGS (CNS) - Three people were fatally shot in Warner Springs Friday night.
The shooting was reported at 6:39 p.m. at 30618 Chihuahua Valley Road, said Lt. Jason Vickery of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
Firefighters found two people dead at the scene and a man who appeared to be in his 50s suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, said CalFire Battalion Chief Nick Schuler.
The man was taken by ambulance to meet a rescue helicopter, but died prior to liftoff, Schuler said.
Homicide detectives were dispatched to investigate, Vickery said.
