Friends remember victims of a murder-suicide

On Tuesday, a mother and daughter killed in an apparent double murder suicide last week were remembered by friends and co-workers.
SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - On Tuesday, a mother and daughter killed in an apparent double murder suicide last week were remembered by friends and co-workers.

Felice Howard-Vinnard, 63, and her 28-year-old daughter Sadie Stockalper died inside their Warner Springs home last week.

On Friday deputies responded to a report of a disturbance in the 30600 block of Chihuahua Valley Road shortly after 6:30 p.m., and found the bodies of Felice Howard-Vinnard, 63, and her 28-year-old daughter, Sadie Stockalper, according to sheriff's officials and county Medical Examiner's Office.

Their deaths of the women, who had suffered bullet wounds to their upper bodies, were ruled homicides.

Stockalper's ex-boyfriend, 52-year-old Steven M. Keith, was also found in the home with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. He died while en route to a hospital.

Keith and Stockalper apparently had been having relationship difficulties that "may have led to this incident," homicide Lt. John Maryon said.
