SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Brown has become the new gold for San Diego landscapers replacing water-guzzling lawns with drought tolerant vegetation.
Landscapers say business is booming. They say it costs about 9$ to $15 a square foot to redesign your yard. However, you can do it yourself and then there are also lawn replacement rebates.
Landscapers say water saved means cash saved. Homeowners can save nearly $2,200 a year for an average size lawn.
