SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - UCSD turned the spotlight on sustainability on Thursday as part of its continuing Earth Month celebrations.
Student organizations, campus departments and outside vendors set up displays and information booths. Organizers say the idea is to raise awareness on the impact people have on the environment.
Earth Day is officially recognized this Friday. This is the first time the university has extended Earth Day to a month-long series of events.
