SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - After a nearly hour-long delay the court case involving dozens of accused car thieves got underway Friday.
The district attorney's office arrested 32 suspects who are accused of stealing 117 vehicles from across the county. Ten of the accused car thieves are still on the loose.
Local law enforcement spent 10 months undercover cracking down on auto theft as part of 'Operation Kwik Boost.'
Investigators also found drugs and weapons.
The suspects will face federal charges.
