SAN DIEGO (NEWS 8) - The San Diego International Fringe Festival is returning and bringing all things beautiful, bizarre and unexpected with it!
The Festival kicks off on June 21st and runs through July 1st with June 24th being the Family Fringe event.
Fringe Festivals have been established throughout the world to provide an opportunity for artists to showcase their works and performances in a setting unconstrained by censorship, judgment, or the status quo. Fringe Festivals provide platforms for artists of all origins and disciplines to collaborate and share their art with each other and with the local community.
San Diego’s Festival will have The Circus Collective of San Diego performing some incredible stunts. The collective is a contemporary circus troupe comprised of artists who work together to create original shows which blur the lines between circus and contemporary theater.
