SAN DIEGO (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County fell eight-tenths of a cent Monday to $4.266, the second daily decrease following an eight-day streak of increases.

The average price is 2 cents higher than it was one week ago, 13.7 cents above what it was one month ago and $1.108 greater than it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price fell a half-cent Saturday.
