JULIAN (CBS 8) - Ed White is the former Chargers lineman who enjoyed a 17 year career in the NFL. He played nine years with the Minnesota Vikings before playing with the Chargers from 1978 - 1985.
He is in the Chargers Hall of Fame, the College Football Hall of Fame for his play at Cal and the football field at Indio High School is named Ed White Stadium in honor of Ed.
Ed White is also an artist. John Howard of News 8 Sports recently visited Big Ed's art studio in Julian and files this video report.
