SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - Family and friends of a 12-year-old Oceanside boy who was hit and killed by a truck, as he rode his bike to school Thursday morning, are planning a paddle out in his honor.
Hundreds are expected to gather Sunday at 12:00 p.m. to celebrate the life of Logan Lipton, who learned to surf at a young age.

More than $22,000 has been raised on a Go Fund Me page to help support his family.
Logan's family will be holding the paddle out in Oceanside at Ash Street and The Strand.
