BORREGO SPRINGS (CBS 8) - Sheriff's deputies investigate a report of a body found inside a Borrego Springs home.
When deputies entered the home, they found a deceased male approximately 50 years of age, lying on the floor. There were obvious signs of trauma to the male's upper body.
Detectives from the Sheriff's Homicide Detail responded and took responsibility for the investigation. Detectives have one male adult detained as a person of interest.
The Medical Examiner's Office will be conducting an autopsy and will determine the cause and manner of death as well as the identity of the victim.
