Fog causes flight delays at Lindbergh Field

Flights are back on track at the San Diego International Airport after some early morning fog.

SAN DIEGO (CBS8) - Flights are back on track at the San Diego International Airport after some early morning fog.

Dozens of planes from multiple airliners were temporarily prevented from landing because of the weather. Flights taking off were not affected.

Some passengers say they were circling for more than 30 minutes. The first plane was cleared to touch down around 8:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
