Experience the Magic of Monet and Van Gogh

Immersive Art Exhibit Breathes Life Into Paintings. Sponsored by Beyond Van Gogh

DEL MAR, Calif. — After selling out and being wildly popular in 2022, Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience has returned to the Wyland Center at the Del Mar Fairgrounds for an encore. This time you can also journey into the ethereal world of Claude Monet. The exhibit comes alive with still and moving artwork projected on every surface, flowing all around you. You actually feel as if you’ve stepped into a painting.

“When you walk in, you’re hit with all the colors, sound, music. It’s a mixture of classical art with contemporary music,” said Anthony Ginnetti, General Manager of Beyond Van Gogh San Diego. “You’re able to see these artworks in a way that you’ll never be able to see in a museum.”

Beyond Van Gogh San Diego is a sensory extravaganza that blends the celebrated artwork of two masters, Van Gogh and Monet, with music for a truly special cinematic multi-media experience. More than 300 masterpieces are transported from the canvas to the visitor’s surroundings. It is accessible to individuals, couples, families, to people who love art or for people who welcome a unique experience. This year you can immerse yourself in the individual works of Vincent Van Gogh or Claude Monet. In addition, you can also attend a combination experience. You can go beyond the Sunflowers and Starry Night and embark on a VR journey where Vincent Van Gogh himself guides you through his artistic process through his own letters and words.

“As you walk in, you’ll feel so much excitement to see these classical pieces come to life. It brings joy, warmth, comfort,” said Ginnetti. “The immersive experience gives you all of the warm feelings and I encourage everyone to come out.”

Beyond Van Gogh San Diego has been so popular that the exhibit has decided to add extra weeks and extend its run until May 5th.
