SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Olympic all-around women's gymnastics champion Gabrielle Douglas and other Team USA members who competed in London this summer are scheduled to take part in an exhibition Thursday night at the Valley View Casino Center.

The event is part of a 40-city tour that kicked off last Saturday in San Jose.

McKayla Maroney, who won a gold medal in the Olympic team competition and a silver on the vault, broke her left tibia while dismounting from the uneven bars Sunday in Ontario and will not appear at the San Diego event. A statement from USA gymnastics said she and her parents are consulting with physicians to decide on treatment options.

Aly Raisman, the captain of the women's team in London, was also hurt Sunday. While it was unclear whether she will be able to perform, she sent a message on her Twitter account Wednesday that said she was feeling much better and was excited for tonight's show.

Other women's team members scheduled to appear are Jordyn Wieber, Kyla Ross and 2008 all-around gold medallist Nastia Liukin.

Recent Olympians Jonathan Horton and John Orozco are among men's gymnasts who are scheduled to take part.
