SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - On Monday, Jeff traveled to Escondido to learn the ancient art of glass blowing from an expert who has created 20,000 pieces of art.
James Stone's passion for glass blowing is a ball of fire, and his business Stone and Glass creates everything from tumblers to high-end art.
It's a craft that dates back 6,000 years.
From Girl Scout Troops to corporate parties, James wants to pass his art form to others.
James even taught CBS News 8's Larry Himmel, but Larry suffered a four finger burn that sent him to the hospital.
Stone and Glass is currently offering a limited amount of glass blowing classes at half-price. The deal includes a four-hour session for just $79, and students get to keep what they make.
