San Diego Sings takes center stage in Balboa Park

San Diegans have a rare opportunity to hear some of the cities most beautiful singers for free from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 23 at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion.

SAN DIEGO (NEWS 8) - San Diegans have a rare opportunity to hear some of the cities most beautiful singers for free from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 23 at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion.

The Choral Consortium of San Diego puts on the event San Diego Sings once every two years which aims to highlight local choirs. Some that will be featured at this year’s event include: San Diego Street Choir, La Jolla Symphony Chorus and San Diego Sun Harbor Barbershop Chorus.

Carol Manifold from the San Diego Sings Festival along with the San Diego Women’s Chorus stopped by to give some information on the free event and to sing a few songs!
