Author Mark Biederman has an incredible family story: both his parents survived the Holocaust and were the only members of their family to live through it.
As a kid, Mark heard the story of gold coins buried in his father’s backyard in Poland just prior to his family being shipped to concentration camps. As an adult, Mark decided to unearth his family's history and search for his father's gold.
Mark visited Morning Extra to talk about his family’s mysteries and his book “Schindler’s Listed: The Search for My Father's Lost Gold.”
