SAN DIEGO — The San Diego Padres are set to host thousands of fans during FanFest at Petco Park on March 24.
The massive annual season kickoff event will feature appearances by Manny Machado, Fernando Tatis Jr., Xander Bogaerts, Joe Musgrove, Yu Darvish, Mike Shildt and celebrate the historic transformation of Gallagher Square.
The highly anticipated reveal of Gallagher Square also marks start of the Padres’ commemoration of Petco Park’s 20th anniversary.
Tickets
- Tickets are free. Fans are required to redeem digital tickets here starting on February 16.
- Fans are limited to four tickets per person.
- Tickets are free and available while they last.
FanFest 2024
- Padres FanFest is scheduled for Sunday, March 24 from 12:30 p.m.- 6:30 p.m.
- Gates open to the public starting at 12:30 p.m., with Padres Members receiving early entry beginning at 12:00 p.m.
Appearances
- Fans will have the chance to take photos and have autographs signed by Padres players and alumni at locations around Petco Park.
- The Padres will hold Q&A forums featuring players, broadcasters, executives and more.
- All autographs and photo opportunities are not guaranteed and available on a first-come, first-served basis
Inaugural San Diego Celebrity Softball Game
- More than 20 professional athletes, world champions, Olympic champions, reality and social media stars who make up the two teams facing off during the softball game.
- The San Diego Celebrity Softball game is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on March 24 during Padres FanFest.
- Padres alumni Trevor Hoffman and Tony Gwynn Jr. will coach opposing teams.
Parking
- Parking is free on a first come first serve basis in nearby Padres-controlled parking lots.
- Lexus Premier Lot, Tailgate Lot and Padres Parkade
- The Padres said to expect these spaces to fill quickly.
