SAN DIEGO — Saturday marks the 50th anniversary of the launch of Apollo 11 and Tuesday marks the anniversary of when the mission launched.
Fleet Science Center in San Diego will celebrate the milestone anniversary of the moon landing and walk on the moon with a special event Saturday, July 20. At 12:17 p.m. that day, the Fleet promises to launch a special surprise in honor of the Moon Landing anniversary.
