SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - A fund has been set up to help pay for the funeral of a young woman killed in a tragic accident this week.
25-year-old Wendy hamabata died after she lost control of a 19-55 Chevy pick-up truck and slammed into a post along the center divide on the 805 Wednesday night.
Her father, who had just bought the truck for her, was driving right behind her and witnessed the tragedy.

CHULA VISTA (CNS) - Authorities Thursday identified a 25-year-old woman who was killed in a rollover crash on Interstate 805 in Chula Vista this week.
Wendy Hamabata of San Diego was fatally injured in the rollover crash on northbound I-805, north of H Street, about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.
Hamabata was driving a Chevrolet pickup about 65-70 mph when she apparently lost control and the vehicle struck a center median, causing it to overturn and Hamabata to be ejected, the California Highway Patrol reported.
She died at the scene.

CHULA VISTA (CNS) - One person was killed late Wednesday afternoon in a crash on Interstate 805 in Chula Vista, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident was reported at 4:37 p.m. on the northbound 805, just north of East H Street. A driver apparently lost control of a vehicle, which struck a post to an overpass, according to a preliminary CHP report.
The motorist was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene, according to a San Diego Fire-Rescue Department dispatcher.
It was not immediately clear if any other vehicles were involved in the crash, which closed three northbound lanes of the interstate.
