SAN DIEGO — The city of San Diego has closed Ocean Beach Municipal Pier Friday due to high surf.
Lifeguards expect to keep the structure at 1850 Ocean Front Street off-limits to the public as a safety precaution through Saturday morning, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
