SAN MARCOS, Calif. — One of San Diego County’s most beloved craft beer brewing companies has opened its massive new location in San Marcos.
Karl Strauss Brewing Company has opened the first phase of its brand new, 85,000-square-foot beer garden called Karl Strauss Outpost San Marcos.
The two-acre beer destination located at 1293 Armorlite Drive is Karl Strauss’ first neighborhood beer garden.
“Karl Strauss is proud to have pioneered the independent craft brewing industry in San Diego and beyond,” said Karl Strauss President Matt Rattner. “The Outpost reflects this spirit, our San Diego roots, and ambition to grow and frequently redefine ourselves.”
Guests can enjoy North San Diego County’s beautiful weather in the new outdoor beer garden, and can expect all of the brewing company’s famous food. A new menu created by Karl Strauss chefs will be served at The Bar, the company's first food truck.
The new neighborhood beer garden concept features Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, games and fire pits.
The Outpost is Karl Strauss Brewing Company’s fifth location in San Diego County.
