SAN DIEGO — One of San Diego County’s oldest craft beer bars has been named the best in the United States.
O’Brien’s Pub located at 4646 Convoy St in Kearny Mesa was ranked the number one beer bar in the U.S., according to a USA Today 10Best poll.
The list ranked ten of the nation’s best beer bars that offer draft, bottled and canned beers produced locally, along with a relaxed ambiance and knowledgeable staff.
The USA Today 10Best website said,
"Not only is O'Brien's Pub one of San Diego's first craft beer bars — established in 1994 — but it's also one of the most respected with 28 craft beers on tap. They especially emphasize Belgian beers, hoppy pours, and rarities from around the world to ensure beer enthusiasts are getting a unique pour whether it's their first visit or 100th."
