SAN DIEGO COUNTY, Calif. — Residents in Rancho San Diego are teed off over a plan to turn a golf course in the middle of their community into a sand mine.

On Monday, nearly 200 residents attended a public meeting to voice their concerns to the county. Residents expressed concerns over environmental impacts, traffic, and plummeting property values.
