POWAY (CNS) - Law enforcement officials Sunday sought a man who wielded a handgun to rob a branch of U.S. Bank in Poway.
The suspect entered the bank at 13395 Poway Road about 11:25 a.m. Saturday, displayed a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded money from a teller, according to the FBI.
The teller handed over an undisclosed amount and the suspect left the bank on foot, with the money in a dark-colored bag, the FBI said.
The suspect was described as a black male, between 5 feet-6 and 5 feet-10 inches tall, and about 130 to 170 pounds with a skinny build. He was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt or jacket, sunglasses with black frames and lenses, black pants and white tennis shoes.
