CPR Saves Lives | Cardiac Arrest Survival Summit holds rally in San Diego

The Citizen CPR Foundation aims to educate first responders and the public on actions that can be taken to help save the lives of victims of sudden cardiac arrest.

SAN DIEGO — The Citizen CPR Foundation held its four-day conference here in San Diego.

The 23rd Cardiac Arrest Survival Summit is an international conference that serves as the central hub for resuscitation professionals, educators, experts and more.

The conference began on Nov. 29 and ran through Dec. 2, bringing people and professionals together to discuss improving how the community responds to sudden cardiac arrest.

The summit featured more than 100 presentations from more than 200 different speakers. 

On Dec. 1  organizers held a free CPR Saves Lives Rally at the Town and Country Resort.

Attendees got a chance to hear from survivors and tour lifesaving vehicles and equipment. There will also be live music, award presentations and CPR trainings.

The Citizen CPR Foundation, founded in 1987, aims to educate first responders and the public on actions that can be taken to help save the lives of victims of sudden cardiac arrest.
